My friend Andrea is always recommending books for me to read.
The first series she recommended was Hunger Games. It took me less than a week to finish all three. I was hooked from the first chapter.
When she suggested that I read 50 Shades of Grey, I got out my Kindle and immediately downloaded all the books, having no clue what I had in store. The book had been banned in the UAE, and I hadn't heard anything about these racy novels. Needless to say, I also finished this series in less than a week, and promptly loaned my Kindle to a friend so she could also read the forbidden books.
